Michèle Henning is a craftswoman specializing in straw marquetry. Born into a family of antique dealers, she grew up in an environment attuned to objects, materials, and craftsmanship.
After discovering straw marquetry, she taught herself the technique before completing her training with several workshops in a Paris studio. Her work highlights the light effects, contrasts, and finesse that characterize this distinctive technique.
The workshops take place at the Reflet de Paille workshop, located in Scy-Chazelles, in Moselle. It is here that Michèle Henning welcomes participants to introduce them to straw marquetry techniques through small-group workshops.
