Bernard, +45 years of experience
Engraver, Lithographer, Painter
Memory, time, space, the timeless, places. My themes are most often linked to cultures, geography, mythologies, prehistory, the Celts, maps... the Mediterranean and its civilizations. It is the stories within stories that inspire me. As a practitioner of mixed techniques, I also explore beyond traditional printmaking. Creation and innovation, researching, finding, failing, reprinting... Starting over with tests, assembling, erasing, cutting, gluing, punching, using chance, diverting accidents, recycling: creating original works.
The workshop is located in the Var, in a village ranked among the most beautiful in France. A peaceful setting that brings us serenity as we create our works, produced mainly on paper.
