In the authentic setting of a family estate steeped in charm and history, Château Mourgues du Grès offers a guided tour followed by a commented tasting.
The experience begins in the heart of the vineyards, to understand the terroir and viticulture choices, then continues in the estate cellar, where five wines are tasted (white, rosé, and red), representative of the property’s style and diversity. This progressive approach provides a clear and accessible first introduction to the estate’s wines, in a spirit of sharing and passing on knowledge.

Famille Collard, +10 years of experience
Estate Host
Château Mourgues du Grès is a family estate handed down through three generations, now led by the Collard family. Deeply attached to their terroir, the family manages the vineyard according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, with particular attention to biodiversity and natural balance.
Their approach aims to reveal the wine’s natural character and the truest expression of the terroir, through respectful practices and a welcome grounded in listening, education, and sharing. Tours and tastings are designed as genuine moments of exchange, accessible to both enthusiasts and newcomers.

Located in the AOP Costières de Nîmes, Château Mourgues du Grès occupies a singular position: the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône Valley, the first rise after the Mediterranean. This geographical setting gives the estate’s wines a pronounced minerality, the hallmark of the terroir.
The estate is set in a landscape of rounded stones, vineyards, and garrigue, offering an environment that is both authentic and welcoming. The visiting areas, between the vineyards and the cellar, make it possible to clearly understand the link between soil, climate, and wine, in a setting that has remained deeply agricultural and alive.
