In the authentic setting of a family estate steeped in charm and history, Château Mourgues du Grès offers a guided tour followed by a commented tasting.
The experience begins among the vines, to understand the terroir and viticulture choices, then continues in the estate cellar, where five wines (white, rosé, and red) are tasted, representative of the property’s style and diversity. This gradual approach offers a clear and accessible first introduction to the estate’s wines, in a spirit of sharing and passing on knowledge.

Famille Collard, +10 years of experience
Estate Host
Château Mourgues du Grès is a family estate handed down over three generations, now led by the Collard family. Deeply attached to their terroir, the family manages the vineyard according to organic and biodynamic farming principles, with special attention to biodiversity and natural balance.
Their approach aims to reveal the natural character of the wine and the truest expression of the terroir, through respectful practices and hospitality rooted in listening, teaching, and sharing. Visits and tastings are designed as genuine moments of exchange, accessible to both enthusiasts and newcomers.

Located in the Costières de Nîmes AOP, Château Mourgues du Grès occupies a unique position: the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône Valley, the first rise after the Mediterranean. This geographical setting gives the estate’s wines a marked minerality, a signature of the terroir.
The estate is set in a landscape of rounded pebbles, vines, and garrigue, and offers an atmosphere that is both authentic and welcoming. The visiting areas, between the vines and the cellar, make it possible to understand concretely the link between soil, climate, and wine, in an environment that remains deeply agricultural and alive.
