A graduate of the Fine Arts, Élise is guided by the diversity of gestures and materials. She embraces an open approach, nourished by drawing, engraving, and ceramics — attentive to the stories each form can evoke.
Based in Seillans for more than a decade, she continues a visual arts practice that moves between engraving, volume, and painting, in constant dialogue with gesture and material. Her works emerge from a motif, a memory, sometimes from a vivid sensation.
The workshop becomes a human-scale space for exploration, where gestures are exchanged simply and without formalism.
To pass on knowledge is to invite people to see, to do, to be — with their hands and with their hearts.
Just off a quiet lane in Seillans, Élise’s workshop opens like a discreet alcove, where time seems suspended.
This is where her engravings, ceramics, and drawings take shape. A sober, light-filled creative space where tools stand alongside materials, experiments, and forms in the making.
Part gallery, part workshop, this place is a direct extension of her practice. Her works, sketchbooks, and inner landscapes are displayed here. It functions as an open-air laboratory, where visitors are invited to discover the gestures and materials that nourish her world.

L'atelier d'Élise Dartmour à Seillans est cosy et rempli de très jolis objets et œuvres qu'elle réalise. J'ai suivi un atelier linogravure hier avec deux amies et je me suis régalée d'apprendre cette technique. Élise est très pédagogue et adorable. Elle partage son art avec passion. Grâce à Valentia, j'ai pu partager ce très bon moment avec mes amies. On y trouve plein d'idées d'activités pour tous les goûts et partout en France.

Linogravure de motifs simples pour les apposer sur du joli papier, des cartes à envoyer et même du tissu, le tout avec des encres de différentes couleurs. On repart avec ses créations. Quel bonheur !

Suite à un cadeau via Valentia, j'ai eu le plaisir de partager un atelier artistique riche en émotions, en compagnie d'Élise Dartmour, une professeure avenante et bienveillante. Son atelier est charmant et ses œuvres pleines de poésie et de délicatesse. Valentia propose une belle sélection d'activités, en lien avec l'art et l'histoire de notre patrimoine français.
