I welcome you to my workshop in Oullins to introduce you to my world: that of shaping clay, of earth that still breathes beneath the fingers.
I work without preliminary drawings, without armatures, letting the form emerge from within, slowly, like a poem. Together, we will dive into this living material, stoneware, which I have been shaping for more than fifteen years.
I will explain how my figures are born, often children, poised between sky and earth, bearing silence and imagination. You will see volumes in progress, sculptures that are fired or awaiting firing, and I will talk to you about the techniques I use, the high-temperature firing, and the grain I choose to preserve.
A sensitive and inspiring visit for those who wish to discover the intimacy of a workshop and the creative path of a sculptor.

I shape figures as one writes poems: slowly, patiently, day after day.
My work is figurative, rooted in emotion and feeling. I like forms to emerge from within, without sketches or armatures, while respecting the grain and texture of the clay, fired at high temperature.
After a life devoted to art therapy, sculpture became my profession, my silent cry, my way of speaking the world.
Shaping life itself is my mantra.
The workshop

My workshop is a refuge.
It is a simple space, shaped by years, silence, and earth. Here, everything has its place: the tools lined up, the blocks of still-damp stoneware, the sculptures waiting, the forms in the making. Light enters gently; it caresses the volumes, highlights the gestures, accompanies the silences.
I work in this place as one inhabits an inner landscape. It is neither large nor imposing, but it is deeply alive. It holds the memory of all the figures I have shaped, of children suspended in time, of gazes turned toward the sky, of moments captured in the grain of the material.
It is a workshop that I open with joy to those who wish to discover my world. You will see the earth as it is: raw, sensitive, malleable. You will smell the scent of past firings, perhaps hear the quiet breath of a creation in progress.
Here, I take my time. And I invite you to do the same.

Free cancellation if more than 48 hours before the experience starts. Between 48 and 24 hours before, 50% of the amount is due. Less than 24 hours before, cancellation is non-refundable.
